Program

 

Albanian Television in the state of Michigan has a defined, structured program which is a current investment in prospective while serving the entire Albanian community of residing emigrants who still remain closely connected with the interests of their people residing abroad in the Albanian territorities of their homeland. These programs are highly variegated and are broadcasted throughout seven days of the week in an organized, continue fashion and are harmonically linked. To mention only a few of the programs:

1. The informative news chronicle offers coverage on events of interest pertinent to all the states in North America, coverage on a U.S. national level, news from abroad (Albania, Kosova and other Albanian territorities within Macedonia, Montenegro, as well as territorities where Albanians reside, work and or are of Albanian origin). The program also provides coverage on current world news and events.

2. Filming, preparing and broadcasting of programs on life within the community and in all areas of activity pertaining to life of the Albanian emigrants. These programs are entirely in function and in support of the national interest such as the (activities of religious institutions, social, cultural, political, family and individual organizations). A crucial place within is given to programs which we prepare and broadcast in connection with the contributions that our fellow Albanian nationals along with other U.S. citizens offer to daily life within our country of America.

3. We prepare and broadcast programs of historical distinction on individuals, dates and events of great national importance etc.

4. Information, commentary, interviews, documentary films, music, spectacular performances of historical, native, patriotic and cultural content dedicated to Kosova and its Independence.

5. A significant place within our broadcast is set aside in reflecting on the activities of the Albanians from Montenegro who still have family residing abroad. The intertwined activities undertaken locally as well as in the homeland in regards to requests in gaining their rights have become the object of daily operations within the television station.

6. Youth programs reflect on student life of Albanians in America as well as informative materials of student interest. Through our programs which we continue to enhance, we are successful in intertwining American culture with Albanian tradition.

7. Children who represent the continuity in immigrant generations capture the center of attention of the Albanian Television of America. Programs such as, Luajme Shkollash (Lets play school), multiplicative films, song festivals, along with other children’s programs play a strong role in helping to learn and preserve the Albanian language.
